Synopsis

The film follows twelve-year-old Hanna, who was born with dysmelia. She only has two fingers on one hand. Her schoolmates have given her the nickname "Kräftan" (the "Claw") and she is met with pitying looks from society. She hides her hand all the time, under her jacket sleeve or in her pockets. At home behind closed doors, she blossoms. Music gives her strength when she dances and sings. A new friendship gives Hanna the courage to dare to be herself and show her hand, without being ashamed. "Kräftan" is a film about learning to love what makes you unique.
